지난 1954년 3월 20일, 미국 공보원 소극장에서 34명의 회원으로 탄생된 서울JC는 창립에서 오늘에 이르는 53여년 동안 한국을 대표하는 JC로서 조국 재건의 숭고한 청년운동과 지도역량개발과 지역사회개발, 그리고 세계와의 우호증진에 선구적 역할을 다해왔다.
오늘의 한국JC를 이룩하는데 근간을 이루어온 서울JC는 지금까지 16명의 한국JC회장 배출을 비롯하여 JCI상임부회장(박담회,신준섭)배출 및 8명의 JCI회장단을 배출하였다.

또한, 서울JC는 1964년 JCI 컨퍼런스, 1982년 제37차 JCI 세계대회와 2006년 제61차 세계대회를 성황리에 치루는 등 총 5회에 걸쳐 JCI 컨퍼런스를 주관 개최하창립에서부터 오늘에 이르기까지 한국JC 리딩 찹터로서 한국JC의 국제화에 선도적 역할을 수행하여 왔다.

앞으로도 서울JC는 "다음 세대를 이끌어 간다"는 사명감으로 조직의 미래지향적 발전을 위해 부단한 노력과 더불어 회원의 지도역량 개발, 지역사회의 봉사, 국제와의 우정을 위한 사업의 전개로 서울JC는 물론, JC운동과 사업의 국제화에 더더욱 박차를 가할 것이다.


JCI KOREA-Seoul, established in March 20, 1954 by 34 youngman, at a small theatre attached to the US Public Informations Office in Korea, has been taking the leading role of JC movement of Korea during last 53 years since its establishment, for the reconstruction of country, leadership development, community development and the world fellowship.
Played the major role to make the Korean JC of today, Seoul JC produced sixteen NOM presidents, eight JCI VP's and two JCI EVP's.

JCI KOREA-Seoul has been leading the internationalization of JCI KOREA since its establishment till today, hosting 5 times of JCI Conferences; JCI Conference in 1964, the 37th JCI World Congress in 1982, the 61th JCI World Congress in 2006, etc.

JCI KOREA-Seoul will try to develop the organization with the future perspective, reminding the duty of 『Leading next generation』, and will strive for internationalization of JC movement by developing members' leadership, serving for the communities and holding world fellowship events
